Version 7.6

Version 7.6 was finalised on 19 February 2009.

The download files have subsequently been updated to address several minor issues. None of these issues affect the main analysis program.

• 22 December 2009
• Setup program for Windows versions updated to allow installation and configuration on Windows 7 systems. This update also addresses issues with the configuration of Zencrack with Fortran 10.1 (see bug reference zencr380).
• Zencrack icon file updated for improved display on Windows Vista and Windows 7 systems.

• 18 March 2009
• Added support for Abaqus plug-ins for 64bit Windows.
• Updated two of the .pyc Abaqus plug-in files for 32bit Windows and 64bit Linux.
• Updated the setupzcr76_64.exe file for Windows 64bit.
• Updated the license.txt file in the tools folder.
• Updated the pressure.f and pressure.for subroutines in the demos\abaqus\ex05 folder.

• Updated the "Zencrack 76.lnk" file to point to the v7.6 icon file (Windows only).

ZENCR374 - Error message is incorrect for a boundary condition error (Abaqus only)
ZENCR373 - Step size power factor is applied for too many steps
ZENCR372 - Problem with user defined crack front producing a merge error
ZENCR371 - Problem with long top level folder names for the Zencrack installation
ZENCR370 - Error 3051 may occur for some uncracked meshes (Abaqus only)
ZENCR368 - Possible error using the "from .. to" method of defining boundary DOFs (Finas only)
ZENCR367 - Saving the .rst or .rth files does not work (Ansys only)
ZENCR366 - Mapping may produce error 4095 or 4125
ZENCR365 - Spline fixup option may distort mesh number 2 in a growth analysis
ZENCR364 - Spline fixup option may cause poor external shape to crack-blocks
ZENCR363 - Enhanced ring control mapping may give distorted elements after some non-planar growth
ZENCR362 - Error following crack-block transfer for 8 noded models with multiple crack tip nodes
ZENCR361 - Error in cracked mesh when using multiple tip nodes in an 8 noded model (Windows 32bit version only)
ZENCR360 - PROCESS post-processor may cause a Fortran error
