Zencrack slide-show

This slide-show describes the Zencrack program. Animation effects are used to help demonstrate the mesh generation and crack growth capabilities.

For smooth playback of some animations and proper transfer between linked files the slideshow should be viewed with Powerpoint Viewer 2007. Powerpoint 2007 can be used as an alternative but will prompt for a password or "open in read-only mode" when each file is opened. In this case the read-only mode should be used. Earlier versions of Powerpoint will not work with these files. More information on downloading Powerpoint Viewer.

The instructions below are for downloading the files. A single zip file is provided containing eight PowerPoint files. All of the files of the presentation can be accessed by opening zencrack_slideshow_web.pps in PowerPoint.

• Click here to download the Zencrack slide show files (zencrack76_slideshow_web.zip - 4.3Mb).
• Extract the files into a folder on your hard disk.
• Open zencrack_slideshow_web.pps to start the presentation.

To remove the slide-show simply delete the zip file and the pps files extracted from it (and any temporary directories that you created) from your hard disk.
