Applications development


Our commercial division undertakes the development of general application systems such as order entry, document management and maintenance / materials management.

All stages of development are covered, from initial user requirements analysis, system specification, design, construction and testing through to implementation, training and support.

Zentech has particular expertise in using MSE eDeveloper, which facilitates the rapid creation and maintenance of small to large-scale distributed applications on a variety of system environments (eg. Windows, Unix, Linux). We also use Windows development tools such as Microsoft Visual Basic and Access.

This range of tools enables us to meet the extent and variety of customer requirements.

Developed applications include systems for a leading international healthcare organisation, such as a customer order entry system for ordering medical products, a document management system and an inventory management system for the safe handling of medical products. The order entry system is currently supporting operations in more than sixteen European customer service centres. Zentech provides on-going development and help-desk support services for these systems.

In addition, the company has developed a Private Equity fund management system for a leading merchant bank in the City of London.

Zentech has also undertaken major developments of material handling and maintenance management systems for oil operators.
